Mental Health Advocacy Roundtable (Presented by IGDA)

Game Developer's Conference (GDC) 2019

I took notes during our first ever Mental Health Advocacy (MHA) roundtable! We discussed healthy workplace habits, the issues that neurodiverse people have to handle in the game dev community, and how we can support each other.

This year, Aviva Scheterson, chair of the Jewish Developers Special Interest Group (JSIG) facilitated our roundtable discussion. During the discussion, I took notes and helped point out those who wanted to speak. This year we discussed how we move forward after anti semitic experiences, and how we use our games to focus on Tikkun Olam: repairing the world.

IGDA Presents Jewish Developers Roundtable

Game Developer's Conference (GDC) 2017

This was my first year involved with the IGDA's Jewish Developers Special Interest Group (JSIG)! I was lucky enough to earn a pass through the Glitch Power Levelling program so that I could attend the talk with the official speaker and chair of JSIG, Aviva Scheterson. While Aviva facilitated, I took notes and occasionally helped facilitate by pointing out members who wanted to speak.
