Welding

My family friend does a lot of contracting work and has done some awesome stuff for theme parks! We were chatting and I told him about how I'm supposed to learn welding in the upcoming fall semester, but with COVID I wasn't sure if that was still happening. He surprised me with my own MIG welder, welding helmet, gloves, clamps, and some steel to experiment with! He spent a few hours with me on a Saturday to teach me the ropes. He was impressed with how quickly I picked it up. I had so much fun and I can't wait to get more steel so I can keep practicing!
